Roundtable Reading Series: HISS
Facilitated by MTF Artistic Staff + A Guest Dramaturg
DETAILS
The Roundtable Reading Series is a dedicated space for table readings, offering artists the opportunity to present their work in a supportive and collaborative environment. Each session features a guest dramaturg who provides constructive feedback, with notes sent to the artists to aid in their development process. In a modern retelling, HISS paints Medusa as the center of a teenage love triangle and asks, Hey, what if being able to turn men into stone was something a woman wanted? An exploration of young feminine rage in the face of male violence, this is a house party that's gone on way too long — and about to take a turn for the bloody.
